Cops relieved

Manila, Philippines – Three policemen of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) have been relieved as they are currently subjected in an ongoing investigation that they allegedly pocketed more than a million pesos worth of jewelry that a thief stole.

QCPD director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega said that he issued the relief of the three policemen from Police Station 12 due to an ongoing investigation against them. “We are currently looking into whether they have any administrative or criminal liability in the case,” said the police official.
