Manila, Philippines – JAKARTA, Indonesia Delegations of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Government of the Republic of the Philippines (RP), and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) have arrived here separately over the week for a two-day high-level meeting to resolve three issues hindering the completion of the review of the implementation of the 1996 Final Peace Agreement (FPA).
The tripartite delegations will proceed early Wednesday via a three-hour train ride to Bandung, West Java, for the Second Formal Meeting of the Ad Hoc High-Level Group. Minister for Political Affairs Andhikar Supeno of the Embassy of Indonesia in the Philippines said members of the delegations have been arriving in Jakarta over week.
Indonesia is hosting and facilitating the tripartite meeting in continuity of its role as chairman of the OIC-Peace Committee for Southern Philippines (OIC-PCSP). (Edd K. Usman)
