Manila, Philippines – With Neil Etheridge and Roland Muller out, the Philippine Azkals will showcase their two local goalkeepers when they take on the MLS champion Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday at the Rizal Stadium.
The Azkals will insert either Edward Sacapano or Paolo Pascual to protect the net when they battle the David Beckham-led Galaxy at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Etheridge and Muller won’t be around to showcase their skills against one of the top professional clubs in North America because of club commitments overseas.
Etheridge is currently a backup keeper for Australian Mark Schwarzer at English Premier League club Fulham while Muller is with German Division II side MSV Duisburg. (Jonas Terrado)
