Manila, Philippines – ANNE Curtis will open 2012 with a big bang at the Big Dome.
“This is the ultimate pasabog,” the reigning Box-Office Queen enthuses about “Annebisyosa: No Other Concert World Tour,” her first major solo concert which will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 28, Saturday.
The concert caps a banner year for Anne and ushers in her 15th year in showbiz. She had two major breakthroughs in 2011 – her movie, “No Other Woman”, became the highest grossing dramatic Filipino movie of all time, and her debut album, “Annebisyosa,” hit platinum status within a couple of months from its release.
“I feel so humbled by all these blessings,” says the Viva Artists Agency star. “And this concert may be the biggest of them all because it’s a dream that I never thought would ever come true.”
The star, who acknowledges that she’s “not the best singer in the world,” promises an enjoyable show. “We are making sure that it will be the best show that we can give,” Anne says. “Lots of production values, costume changes, plus some surprise guests. As for my shortcomings as a singer, I will make up for them with my entire performances. I will give it my all!”
“Annebisyosa: No Other Concert World Tour“ is produced by Viva Concerts and will be directed by Rico Gutierrez. Tickets are available at all Ticketnet outlets located at the SM Department Store Customer Service Area and the Araneta Coliseum box office.
